We look to our parents to prepare us for tomorrow
מעשה אבות סימן לבנים
Each parsha is a fountain filled
With lessons to the brim

There’s always a derech that we can apply
A mitzvah, a midah that you and I can try
דרך ארץ קדמה, קדמה לתורה
It’s never old fashioned - it’s new
The Torah was given for me and for you

I’m growing each week
Strong as the Avos
The words that I speak
Soft as the Imahos
At the end of each day
I hope I can say
I’m a Bas Yisroel in every little way

I’m honest, I’m sweet
Respectful and neat
And to my elders I give up my seat
I set an example, I care for my friends
I learn from each parsha again and again

The Torah is a part of me
It helps me be the best I can be
